US President Donald Trump calls on the United Nations to hold China accountable for dealing with the virus crisis. The speech recorded in the White House was played before the assembly. In it, Trump accuses China and the World Health Organization (WHO) of having incorrectly informed about the spread of the virus. They initially stated that there was no evidence of human-to-human transmission of the virus, Trump claimed. “They later mistakenly said that people without symptoms would not spread the disease – the United Nations must hold China accountable for its behavior,” Trump said. At the beginning of the pandemic, China allowed its citizens to travel abroad “and infect the world”.
