In France, the pandemic could grow to 100,000 new infections per day, warns the head of the scientific committee advising the French government. “There will probably be more than 50,000 cases a day,” says Jean-François Delfraissy for RTL. “We suspect (…) that it will be more in the direction of 100,000 per day.” The mark of 50,000 new infections within 24 hours had already been exceeded at the weekend.
