Due to the increasing number of infections, the government in Slovenia has tightened the corona rules. As of Tuesday, citizens will no longer be allowed to leave their homes, as Prime Minister Janez Jansa’s government announced on Monday. As early as Monday, controls at the borders with Austria, Italy, Hungary and Croatia were tightened and entry bans for people from risk areas in neighboring countries were issued. A week ago, the government in Ljubljana imposed a night curfew between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. On Saturday, all shopping centers, restaurants, hotels and many shops had to close. Kindergartens, elementary schools and universities are also closed.
